Cocktail Party

Hi, I’m Lina. I’m from Singapore. The climate is warm and humid. I don’t like rain, because it makes hard to set my hair. And I can’t enjoy going to park with my children.

I’m married, and have two children, a daughter and a son. My husband is a pilot in Singapore Airline. He is from France. As my family like travel, we go abroad annual.

I am a banker. My bank is the biggest in Singapore. I work from 9 am to 5 pm. The working is hard all the time, but I don’t have over time work. I can have dinner with my family every day.

I like computer. It is useful. When I have times, I often search recipes and see movies.

Preparation for Speaking Exam

Mario Brother’s Pizza and Pasta

The restaurant has 20 kinds of pizzas, and they are $15! Fortunately they are too large, and have much cheese, tomato and sausages. The restaurant has pasta, too. At lunch time; from 11:30 to 14 pm, we can have lunch buffet. It cost just $10. It is reasonable for students! It is in Downtown, and it’s easy to access to there.

I think we can enjoy much Italian food by low cost. Especially pizza is good to eat with other, so we might have a good time as we visit there with them.

Miyazu

There are Japanese foods, and they are variable; Yakiniku, sushi, sukiyaki, okonmiyaki and snacks. In the restaurant, everyone may enjoy. Vegetarian and dieter can enjoy more, because Japanese food is healthy.
It is in Downtown.

It is good to have some kinds of meals. We can visit there anytime, for dinner and break.

Pico de Gallo

It is Mexican restaurant. Country music sounds in the restaurant. The service is praised in Trade American Guide book. It has a lot of parking near the street. The dishes are tacos, fried ice-cream and so on. They are hand-made. There are many wine and international beers.

It is better for people who like alcohol, and want to enjoy different culture. Of cause, others may enjoy there by great their services.

Mandarin Place

This is a little expensive Chinese restaurant. You might feel like be in emperor China, because Chinese decollation and the music. The foods are good, like Mandarin Dag.

When you want to have rich Chinese, I recommend this restaurant. It won’t betray your expectations. (272 words)

OZONI

Do you like mochi; Japanese rice cake? I really like it. Of cause I prefer ozoni, mochi with Japanese soup; we often have it on Jan 1st. However on this Jan 1st, I had it a little due to hangover. I wanted to eat more, so I cooked ozoni!! It was easy and good. I put chicken, Japanese radish, calotte and scallion. It was healthy, wasn’t it?

Ozoni is nice for this season, it make you warm. Why don’t you enjoy it?

*This ozoni has mochi, of cause. I put vegetables on it. (93 words)

Coming of Are Ceremony

I joined Coming of Age Ceremony on Jun 3ed. I worn kimono☆ It was a little heavy, and cold. However I didn’t have a woolen scarf. My face swelled because of too much eating since I came back my home.

In the hall, there were my friends♪ I hadn’t seen some since I graduated junior high school. I met some before the day, but they dressed up and looked so beauty. I was so happy to see them (^^)/

After the ceremony, I went to my elementary school to dig time capsule out. We couldn’t do easily; it was deep under the ground. Opening it, much water came in the capsule, and our things, treasures (when we were pupils), letters and photos, were eroded.. (T0T)

At the nigh, I had a dinner with my classmates and teachers at junior high school. I enjoyed chatting with them.


My family, relatives, neighborhoods and other congratulated me (^^)v I feel tanks for them in my deep mind. I will be a good adult, and return them a favor.

Badminton in Thte First Time in 2010!

I played badminton on Jan 2nd. It is annual event for us who played it when we were members of badminton club at Amakusa high school, and play now.

I hadn’t played it and excised for a long time, so I worried to play it. Of cause, I prepared for it carefully. When I played it, I could hit a shuttle, but I couldn’t move to catch a shuttle!

At games, they were doubles with a women and a man, my partner helped a lot. Thanks of he, we won at the first game, but lost at the second game.

I didn’t play well, but I enjoyed it! There were a lot of smiles. I was happy that my 2010 started with them and their smiles (^^)v

After that, I had a lunch over chatting with them♪ (138 words)

New Year's Eve

I saw the old year out and rang the New Year in with my old friends. We drank and talked at the night at my friend's house. I had long time no see them, so I was really grad to see them. Their looks became beauty, but their inside were no change! I had as good time as my childhood.

When New Year come in, we were going to shrine. However we didn't there, because it was so cool and we drank too much..(^^;) At last I slept at the house.

I'm happy that my 2010 started with my friends.

Christmas with old friends♪

On last Christmas day, I was in Amakusa, my home town. At night, my friends who were members of my badminton club at high school, and I drove to Oe church. It is famous for history of Christ in Japan. The church has been illuminated for Christmas days. It was good☆ I was afraid it was rain when we visited there, but I feel it was wonderful that the lights were more shining. After that, we talked a lot at a café. There was no cake, no Santa, but I was happy thanks of them I love.
